Shipping Policy

General Shipping Terms

  • Delivery times are measured in business days.
  • All orders are subject to a processing time of 2-3 business days prior to shipping.
  • The estimated arrival date provided at checkout and/or during subsequent updates is provided by the shipping provider, not Virage Laboratories Inc., and is therefore not a guarantee of when the package will be delivered.
  • While Virage Laboratories Inc. will make all best efforts to expedite shipments, customs delays, strikes, weather and other factors beyond our control may result in delays.
  • We do not process orders on weekends or Canadian holidays.
  • We do not deliver to PO boxes.

Signature Requirement

Signature requirements are enabled by default on all shipments.  Upon receipt of your tracking number (depending on the provider and level of service chosen), you may make a request to the shipping provider to alter the conditions of delivery.  We cannot alter or remove the requirements for any order.

Shipping Providers

Virage Laboratories Inc. utilizes Canada Post and DHL as it’s shipping providers.  At the time of checkout, you will be asked to choose provider and the level of service.  For further details on the terms and conditions of the various providers and their levels of service, please consult their websites:

Shipping Charges

The total cost at checkout for your purchase of any product on the viragelabs.com website includes the cost of the items ordered, as well as associated shipping charges and applicable Canadian taxes.  For international orders, brokerage/customs fees, duties, or local taxes, as well as any associated service charges, are not included in the checkout total, and are the sole responsibility the customer.  Please consult the websites of our shipping providers to identify any extra costs that may be associated with various providers and/or levels of service.  Note that the original shipping fees are non-refundable in the case of a returned product.

Cross Shipping

We do not cross-ship products.  We must receive and inspect your return prior to shipping a replacement.

Risk of Loss and Passing of Title

Based on the carrier and shipping method you choose during checkout, we will ship the product(s) ordered to the identified shipping address on a Free Carrier (FCA) basis.  This means that the risk of loss passes to you (the customer) upon our delivery of the products to the carrier.  Ownership (title) to the product(s) will also pass to you upon our delivery of the product(s) to the carrier, with the exception of device firmware, the title to which will continue to be governed by the relevant open source license(s).

Virage Laboratories Inc. does not take ownership (title) of returned products until they are received and inspected at the return address destination.

Delivery Times

Please note that estimates of delivery dates provided on our site, in email communications, or elsewhere, are only estimates and not guaranteed delivery times.  As such, they should not be relied upon, and are not part of the contract between you and Virage Laboratories Inc.

Non-Delivery/Non-Receipt

Virage Laboratories Inc. will not be responsible or liable for any claim of non-delivery or non-receipt of a shipment in any case where there is proof of delivery, including delivery to a central pick-up location, delivery to a freight forwarder, redirection to a new delivery address after initial shipment, or delivery to any residential, commercial or industrial address.  It is your responsibility to ensure that the delivery location specified in your order is open and/or secure such that your package cannot be stolen or lost after delivery, or to contact the shipping provider to make other delivery/pickup arrangements.  You are also responsible to ensure that the shipping address provided during checkout is valid and correct.

Refused Delivery

Refused shipments are handled as regular returns and may be charged a non-refundable 15% restocking fee.
